Dogs & Storks is an international program that helps expecting families with dogs get ready for life with baby. The program offers positive, practical, and fun solutions to challenges that often arise when a family with a dog, or dogs, adds a new baby to the household.

Since 1989 our little shop and sweet gardens have grown and evolved to become one of the finest facilities and resources in the country for bulk herbs, herbal products and education. While our gardens are not certified organic, we have used organic practices since the beginning.
Support Groups (Free)
ICAN is a support network for mothers healing from past birth experiences and preparing for future births.
They meet the second Tuesday of the Month, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at 750 Central Avenue, Unit U, in Dover.
Meet other new parents and discuss topics of concern to you. Facilitated by lactation consultants and child life specialists. Held every Monday, EXCEPT for holidays, from 1:30 — 3 p.m. No registration necessary for this class and there is no fee. It is not necessary to have delivered here to attend. Find them on facebook
Becoming a mother, again or for the first time, can be joyful and challenging. If you’re not feeling quite yourself or it’s not what you expected, you’re not alone. Many women feel overwhelmed, isolated or scared at times. Talking with other moms who are experiencing the same feelings can help. Join us for our free mothers support group where you can be real, valued and understood. – Babies are welcome.
This group meets weekly on Thursdays rotating between Wentworth Douglass Hospital, Dover NH and the Wentworth Douglass Hospital Lee Campus. Meetings in Dover occur from 11am -noon and in Lee from 6:30-7:30pm. * There will be an occasional week missed due to scheduling and holidays.
*Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Communication regarding cancellations due to weather and other important information happens via email based on the email provided when registering.
This weekly meeting is designed for women to gather together in support of one another and begin to grow your circle of support now – before your baby arrives! Each meeting will be hosted by one of our affiliated Birth Doulas. These gatherings are free, but we ask that you register in advance.
Bring your partners events on special topics held several times a quarter!
Held on Wednesdays (except major holiday weeks) from 6:30-8 pm in the family center Steinberg room. It is not necessary to be planning to deliver at WDH to attend.
Families First, Porstmouth, NH offers support to mothers during their baby’s first year, when postpartum depression and anxiety are common. Come be with other mothers who know what it’s like!

SMA is for moms and/or expectant moms. We connect moms with similar interests, provide a support network, facilitate information sharing and develop friendships between our members and their families.
Our on-line community provides forums for member communications, a calendar of SMA events, social events for moms, information on businesses offering SMA members discounts, play dates and much more.
Focused on getting families outside and active and is a great way to meet new friends for both you and your child!
