We were fortunate to go to an OBGYN practice that supported & encouraged the use of a doula. We interviewed with a few doulas and Amy quickly stood out to us as the right match for our needs. Amy provided us with pregnancy support and extensive education – even through Zoom due to Covid-19. She prepared us and answered any and all questions regarding labor, pregnancy, & breastfeeding. During early labor, Amy was readily available and facilitated us staying home as long as we were able. Once we were at the hospital, Amy provided consistent support to both my husband & I. We had a few times where our labor preferences needed to change and she was able to help walk us through decisions. Post partum, we have received the same level of attention & support from Amy with early infancy development & breastfeeding.

We cannot say enough about the positives Amy brought to our pregnancy, delivery, and early days of parenting. I have said numerous times – I don’t know how we could have done it without her! I would encourage all families to explore the services a doula can bring to your experience and my highest recommendation would go to Amy! There is nobody else I could imagine having provided the level of support, compassion, and knowledge throughout our experience with her. We feel so fortunate to have her part of our son’s birth and hope she will be present for any future pregnancies! Thank you Amy!
